The slots are of 45 minute duration and only one training aircraft is normally accepted at a time to maximise training time (although priority is given to scheduled aircraft in the normal way). Any number of IFR approaches can be made in the 45 minute period and the charge made is half the normal landing fee.
To book a slot, please call Plymouth ATC on 01752 515341.
For further information:
The full UK AIP entry for Plymouth City Airport (and all other UK airports) is available on the UK Aeronautical Information Service website at www.ais.org.uk.
(Registration is required, which is free to all users but may take a little time).
Apart from the AIP entries for aerodromes, there is also a great deal of other useful information for pilots, particularly in the publications section. The AIS site is regularly updated and always has the latest amendments of all documents.
