Conspicuity Code:

Plymouth City Airport, despite not being a Radar Facility, have been issued a Conspicuity Transponder code of 2677 for use by aircraft receiving a Basic or Procedural Service from Plymouth Approach 133.550.

Aircraft will not be receiving a radar service from Plymouth Approach. The purpose of the squawk is to assist local radar units, (Plymouth Military, Newquay Radar and Exeter Radar) in the identification and co-ordination of air traffic in the area.

Aircraft not transponder equipped my be requested to provide extra position and level reports, to increase situational awareness for ATC, and commercial air traffic arriving and departing from Plymouth City Airport.
