ATC Preferred Routing:

When commercial traffic is inbound to the ILS to runway 31, Plymouth Approach will request VFR traffic transitting to the South of the airport to route via the Avon Estuary and Marsh Mills VRP.

The standard R/T phraseology will be used;

"Route to the Avon Estuary and report the ILS traffic in sight"

"Route Marsh Mills VRP to Avon Estuary VRP, traffic is...."

This routing parallels the ILS fianal approach track, and helps to maintain lateral separation between ILS and VFR traffic.
